Team Tungate Winners of the Coveted Dougie Mac Donna Louise Golf Day 2021

Congratulations to Team Tungate Adrian Heath, Kevin Paszek, Liam Donaldson and Jack Johnson after entering the annual DougieMac Donna Louise Golf Day at Trentham Golf Day.

The all-day event saw over 30 teams competing for the number one spot, on a day that saw some of the worst weather of the year, the morning matches were hit by gale force winds and torrential rain. Luckily Tungate 1.00pm start meant that they missed the rain and wind but had to come with a waterlogged fairways and greens.

‘’ We couldn’t believe the weather conditions when we arrived at the course, but were encouraged when the sun came out as we stepped onto the first tea. The weather remained over cast but dry for us most of the day, until we got to the 17^th were we experienced, driving rain, gale force winds and huge hailstones, a biblical thunderstorm. The sight of the club house coming down the 18^th was a welcome site. A huge thank you to the volunteers and staff of the DougieMac and Donna Louise for a great day ’’
