Normally we would have sent out a Happy New Year Message as soon as the champagne corks hit the ground, but not this year.

2020 was a year where we found out what kind of Company we truly are, in May companies great and small rallied to manufacture and deliver 20,000 Lifesaving ventilators to frontline NHS ICU departments around the UK, Tungate played a small part in this monumental effort, by suppling a specialised nameplates developed by Tungate, for Airbus, to assist in the calibration of each ventilator. As the pandemic took hold of the nation Amazon delivered vital supplies across the UK, to protect their delivery drivers Amazon gave each one Daily PPE packs to. Tungate supplied Amazon with over 500,000 pieces of pre -packed PPE.

We would like to thank our customers large and small for their loyalty and support, each and every order was looked after by our incredible staff whom ensured excellent customer service and on time deliveries, Tungate’s end of year 96% customer satisfaction report demonstrates the dedication of the Tungate Team.

Some of our office staff where asked to work from home, once a busy happy workplace was turned into an alien environment of Perspex walls, hand sanitizer, 2-meter distancing, face masks and many restrictions. Even though our teams where split, our amazing staff kept service levels high, telephones answered, emails returned, orders placed and suppliers paid.

At times our production and sales support team where placed under enormous pressure, our production staff worked around the clock ensuring that critical packaging was supplied to 

key front-line food suppliers, meeting the demand at every turn.

We salute our Tungate Family for their dedication, determination and ‘’can-do’’ attitude and wish them, their families, our Customers and suppliers, a Happy and Safe New Year.
