Tungate Launches New Sustainable High Shrink PET Film

Following extensive development with key suppliers, Tungate will be stocking a high shrink PET film with 30% post-consumer waste content from Q4 2020.

The new film has been developed to cater for both challenging high shrink primary decoration applications whilst also specified to give sufficient tensile strength for a myriad of promotional and multi-packing applications.

Commenting Tungate Sales Director Gareth Partlett was enthused about this new product launch but was keen to stress that the development was very much a work in progress  : ‘We are working hard with our supplier to improve the percentage of post-consumer waste within the film and hope to make further announcements regarding this aspect as early as possible in 2021’
