Reprographics Studio and Pre-Press Facility undergoes Radical Overhaul

In a continuation of Tungate’s constant search for innovative and technical perfection, we have recently invested in a complete refurbishment and upgrade of the Studio.

Already the acknowledged market leaders in high quality flexible packaging and labeling for niche brands, the upgrade to this state-of-the-art facility; comprising amongst other things a Screen Platerite 4300S and the latest ESKO software (Artpro and Automation Engine) reprographics programmes, will allow us to remain at the forefront of all areas of pre-press technology.

The Group will now be able to offer an even more efficient pre-press service to our customers thanks to cutting-edge plate-making technology which allows us to make plates up in-house immediately the artwork is approved and incorporate any final changes without undue delay to the production process. New in-house press accurate colour proof outputting (GMG) ensures the fastest and most cost effective artwork approval service.

Additionally, through investment in state of the art hardware, customers will now benefit from an even faster and higher quality version of Tungate’s popular shrink sleeve mock up facility. This service gives customers the ability to see and feel real live samples of their new products with shrink sleeves applied, prior to commitment to the repro process.
