Tungate is awarded a Certificate of Recognition for Value Analysis

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Europe held their Annual Supplier Business Meeting in Brussels this month. This meeting was to review key business requirements for the following year and to recognise supplier contribution during the previous 12 months.

The Tungate Industrial & Automotive Division supplies parts to all the manufacturing sites in Europe including the UK, France and Turkey. Specialist staff within Project Management, Manufacturing, Quality and Logistics provide the support necessary to meet the demands of a major OEM.

The philosophy of Toyota is ‘Continuous Improvement’ also known as ‘Kaizen’. This process has been adopted at Tungate as a way of improving our own efficiencies which is then passed onto our Customers.

Suppliers to Toyota are encouraged to propose new developments in materials and manufacture to improve efficiencies in cost and to reduce the environmental impact with more recyclable products at the vehicles ‘End of Life’. Tungate this year has been very successful in supporting this process and it was with great pleasure that we excepted the award for Value Analysis.
